Year of Jubilee for Great Britain
After 44 years of marriage, Great Britain has divorced the EU by formally triggering Article 50 on 30 March 2017. The prophetic patterns are striking. 1973 was the Year of the Yom Kippur War in Israel. 2017 is the Year of Jubilee or Liberty and Land Restoration. 1973 was the year Britain joined the European Economic Community, a Common Market that was a precursor to the European Union. 2017 is the Year of Brexit or Britain’s freedom and economic restoration.
More Prophetic Patterns
As explained in the book The Divine Code from 1 to 2020, 40 years was the number of years Israel wandered in the desert, signifying a period of testing. 44 is double the root number 4 and signifies the end of trial. 44 is also double 22, the number of the Jews. Britain and Israel have been joined at the hips prophetically since Britain liberated Israel from Ottoman control in 1917. The decisive battle was at Beersheba, where the Australian 4th Light Horse Brigade had a miraculous victory. A little over a month later General Edmund Allenby took Jerusalem and expelled the Ottomans after 500 years of Islamic occupation. The 44th time Abraham’s name is mentioned is in Genesis 21:14, when Hagar and Ishmael were cast out of Abraham’s house, “So Abraham rose early in the morning, and took bread and a skin of water, and gave them to Hagar, putting them on her shoulder, and gave her the boy, and sent her away. And she departed and wandered about in the wilderness of Beersheba.” The number 44 and the city Beersheba are connected to the end of an enemy’s occupation.
44 may also signify revival. The 44th time that Peter is mentioned in Scripture is in Acts 8:14-15, “Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent them Peter and John, who came down and prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit.” If British Christians will believe and pray for the blessings of Jubilee, this could be the start for revival!
Despite the fear-mongering by Leftist politicians and media pundits who wrongly predicted that Britain would not survive separation from European control, the UK economy has continued steady and new bilateral alliances are being made in the best interests of the British people instead of the European collective.
What the Bible Says About Globalism
For Bible-believing Christians, nations are not supposed to give up their sovereignty, because nations built on families that share common values and culture are God’s idea. It has been the aspiration of megalomaniacs throughout history to dominate the entire world and rule every human by force and without God. The first dictator who tried to unite the world under his political power was the evil Babylonian named Nimrod (Genesis 10). He tried to “bring the world together” at the infamous Tower of Babel (Genesis 11). God was not pleased. According to Jewish history, Abraham’s father Terah was a member of Nimrod’s council, which explains why God called Abraham out of Ur of the Chaldees (Babylonia or part of present day Iraq). God is not against international trade or free economic cooperation between peoples, but God is against arrogant rulers who assume they can and should control the world by law, force and military might.

The map below illustrates British citizens’ change in attitude from 1975 to 2016 towards leaving the European power structure that is now falling apart, as prophesied by Daniel the Prophet.
